Four People Arrested after Social Services Investigations
Genesee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested the following individuals after investigations by Social Services Investigator Robert Riggi:
Tammy O’Shea, 50, of Stafford, NY was charged with grand larceny 3rd and offering a false instrument for filing 1st after allegedly failing to report that she was married and that her husband was employed full time, resulting in her receiving $5265.00 in SNAP funds she was not entitled to. O’Shea was arrested and arraigned in Batavia Town Court and released on recognizance and will appear at a later date.
Angela Mueller, 49, of Corfu, NY, was charged with grand larceny 4th and offering a false instrument for filing 1st after allegedly failing to report income resulting in her receiving $1454.00 in SNAP benefits she was not entitled to. Mueller was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Batavia Town Court on June 2, 2022.
Chandah Sundown, 30, of Batavia, NY is charged with 11 counts of offering a false instrument for filing and one count of grand larceny 3rd, after allegedly failing to report the father of her children was residing in the home and earning income, resulting in her receiving $8353.00 in SNAP benefits she was not entitled to. Sundown was arrested and arraigned in Batavia Town Court and released in recognizance to appear at a later date.
Megan Courtney, 26, of Batavia, NY was charged with grand larceny 3rd and 3 counts of offering a false instrument for filing 1st, after allegedly failing to report that the father of her child was residing in the home and earning income from employment, resulting in her receiving $6830.00 in SNAP benefits she was not entitled to. Courtney was arrested and arraigned in Batavia Town Court and released on recognizance to appear at a later date.
