The Sullivan County Welfare Fraud Task Force

The Sullivan County Welfare Fraud Task Force has arrested: 

                May 30th 2023 – Jason Troxel 45 of Deltona Florida, was arrested and charged with Non – Support of a Child 2nd Degree – Failure to pay court ordered child support a Class A Misdemeanor. It is alleged that on January 3rd 2022 Honorable Schick issued a Judgment of Divorce and ordered Jason Troxel to pay Allison Troxell $500 a month for child support for his unemancipated children. It is also alleged that from April, 2022 and continuing through May, 2023 Jason Troxell has not made a child support payment and has made no attempts with the court to modify his current support obligation and currently owes $7,000 in current  Court Ordered Support that was orderd payable through the NY State Child Support Processing Center.  Jason Troxel was processed and released on an appearance ticket to return to the Town of Liberty Court at a later date.

           June 3rd 2023 – Adrienne McCord 32 of Monticello NY, was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny in the 3rd Degree a Class D felony. It is alleged that Adrienne McCord did steal $3,496 in SNAP benefits from the Sullivan County Department of Social Services, by failing to disclose income in her household. It is alleged that between the dates of November, 2021 and continuing through March, 2022 that Adrienne McCord failed to disclose income from her employment at Walmart, income from her mother who was also employed at Walmart and income from her brother who was employed at the Dollar Tree, all of whom lived with Adrienne McCord and brought income into the household, and at which time she was in receipt of SNAP Benefits. This unreported income in the household composition to the Department of Social services resulted in $3,496 in SNAP benefits to Adrienne McCord that she was not entitled to. Adrienne McCord was processed and released to return to the Town of Liberty Court at a later date.

         June 10th 2023 – Yolanda Pettway 36 of Monticello NY, was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny a Class A Misdemeanor. It is alleged that Yolanda Pettway did steal $548 in SNAP Benefits from the Sullivan County Department of Social Services, by failing to disclose that she was employed by Frito Lay, A.K.A Pepsi Co., between the dates of January 4th 2022 and continuing through May, 2022 the same time period that she was in receipt of SNAP Benefits. This unreported income resulted in Yolanda Pettway receiving $548 in SNAP benefits that she was not otherwise entitled to. Yolanda Pettway was processed and released on an appearance ticket to return to the Town of Liberty Court at a later date.
