The Sullivan County Welfare Fraud Task Force has arrested:

                November 2nd, 2023 – Ciera M. Hatch 31 of Liberty NY, was arrested and charged with Welfare Fraud in the 4th Degree a class E Felony and Offering a False Instrument for Filing 1st a class E Felony. It is alleged that Ciera Hatch did steal $1,119 in SNAP benefits from the Sullivan County Department of Social Services, by failing to disclose on her SNAP re-certification application that she was employed during the time frame from October 11th, 2021 and continuing through March 31st, 2022. During this same time frame Ciera Hatch was in receipt of SNAP benefits from the Sullivan County Department of Social Services. This unreported income to the Sullivan County Department of Social Services by Ciera Hatch resulted in an overpayment of $1,119 in SNAP benefits that she would not have been entitled to. Ciera hatch was processed and released on an appearance ticket to return to the Town of Liberty Court at a later date.

December 9th, 2023 – Tiesajah M. Reynolds 25 of Liberty NY, was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny 4th Degree a class E Felony. It is alleged that Tiesajah Reynolds did steal $1,500 in SNAP Benefits from the Sullivan County Department of Social Services, by failing to disclose that she was employed between the dates of October 1st, 2021 and continuing through May 31st, 2022. During this same time frame Tiesajah Reynolds was in receipt of SNAP benefits. This unreported income to the Sullivan County Department of Social Services resulted in an overpayment of $1,500 in SNAP benefits to Tiesajah Reynolds that she was not otherwise entitled to. Tiesajah Reynolds was processed and released on an appearance ticket to return to the Town of Liberty Court at a later date.

December 27th, 2023 – Aaron J. Minner 26 of Monticello NY, was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny in the 4th Degree. It is alleged that Aaron Minner did steal $1,495 in SNAP benefits and Public Assistance benefits from the Sullivan County Department of Social Services, by failing to disclose that he was employed between the dates of November 27th, 2020 and continuing through April 30th, 2021.  During this same time frame Aaron Minner was in receipt of Temporary Assistance benefits and SNAP benefits. This unreported income to the Sullivan County Department of Social Services resulted in an overpayment of the two assistance programs in the amount of $1,495 that he was not otherwise entitled to. Aaron Minner was processed and released on an appearance ticket to return to the Town of Liberty Court at a later date.
